Package A: Random Reflectance Analysis
Package A: Random Reflectance Analysis
Descripción
Material verification and carbonization assessment
Package A provides Fusinite's Random Reflectance Analysis, the petrographic method used to verify whether a sample is genuine pyrogenic biocarbon and to detect non-biocarbon material such as fossil carbon contamination.
Random Reflectance measures the distribution of carbonization across 500 individual biochar fragments. Unlike bulk analytical methods that provide a single average value, it shows how uniformly the material has been carbonized and identifies the fraction of highly carbonized inertinite carbon.
Package A is the core method for Fusinite Verified material verification. When Package A is added to the required complementary package, clients can access Fusinite Lens interpretive reporting and Fusinite Verified material verification.

Important
- Package A is essential for material verification, but Package A alone is not sufficient for full Inertinite Benchmarking or carbon credit assessment.
- To receive Fusinite Verified material verification and the full Fusinite Lens interpretive report, select Package A + Package B.
- For the fastest route to receive Fusinite Verified material verification, the full Fusinite Lens interpretive report, and a complete carbon permanence assessment, select Inertinite Benchmarking.
