Certification Statement
Where the sample ID is displayed as "Inertinite Gold Certificate," it signifies that the biochar sample has been tested and certified as Inertinite Biochar, meeting the highest standards of carbon stability. This certification confirms that the sample contains 95% or more inertinite (dry, ash-free basis) and qualifies for the Inertinite Gold Certification. Inertinite is the most stable form of organic carbon maceral in sedimentary rocks, exhibiting resilience comparable to inorganic carbon minerals over geological time. As such, it ensures secure and long-term carbon storage.
