Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon screening

Package E provides PAH analysis for biochar and biocarbon materials. It is designed to support product safety assessment, regulatory compliance, environmental risk screening, and market acceptance.

PAH testing is important for biochar products used in soil, agriculture, construction, environmental applications, and carbon removal projects. Package E measures both the 8 EFSA PAHs and the extended 16 EPA PAHs, providing a strong basis for compliance screening and product quality documentation.

Package E by itself provides PAH data only. It does not provide Fusinite material verification, Fusinite Lens interpretive reporting, or a complete carbon permanence assessment.

What you receive

  • PAH concentration profile
  • Total 8 EFSA PAHs
  • Total 16 EPA PAHs
  • Organic contaminant risk screening
  • Data for compliance and product quality documentation
  • Support for market acceptance and regulatory review
  • Guidance on whether PAH levels may limit intended applications

Best suited for

  • Biochar producers seeking compliance screening
  • Soil and agricultural application assessment
  • Environmental risk screening
  • Construction and material use assessment
  • Carbon removal projects requiring contaminant data
  • Product quality documentation

Important

  • Package E provides PAH data, but it does not verify whether the material is genuine biocarbon and does not provide full Fusinite Lens reporting by itself.
  • To also receive Fusinite Verified material verification and the full Fusinite Lens interpretive report, select Package A + Package B.
  • For the fastest route to receive Fusinite Verified material verification, the full Fusinite Lens interpretive report, and a complete carbon permanence assessment, select Inertinite Benchmarking.
